Jan Siuzdak was 55 years old. Helping was his passion. He had been saving people for 35 years. In 1990, he joined the Rzeszów Water Volunteer Search and Rescue Service. Now his colleagues have announced the dramatic news of his death.
We regret to inform you that on February 24, 2025, our colleague, Jan Siuzdak, passed away. A man who entered the history of the Rzeszów WOPR.

Rescuers from Rzeszów say goodbye to their colleague. Jan Siuzdak has died– He has been our Member since 1990. First as a Junior Lifeguard, later as a WOPR Lifeguard (2003), Senior WOPR Lifeguard (2006), and then WOPR Instructor (2010). Member of the Board of Rzeszów WOPR in the years 2007-2017. Awarded with the bronze, silver and gold Honorary Badge of WOPR "For Merits". He contributed to the publication of the book "Water Rescue" by Rafał Kołodziej, Iwona Tabaczek-Bejster, Antoni Siuzdak – wrote WOPR from Rzeszów.
